ELMAG-3D

The software is used for load loss and temperature rise calculation of transformer structural elements.
3D coupled problem of quasistatic magnetic and heat calculations with heat power source treated as loss density calculated from induced eddy currents is solved. Loss and temperature profile of tank, frames, flitch plates, core last packets, studs, clamping elements, leads, etc. are computed. Software is capable to analyze designs with magnetic (core steel) or (and) electrical (copper or aluminum) shielding. Magnetic field energy and impedances are calculated as well.
